Fixed, there was problem inside your login redirection (in menu item settings)
Now is no error.

Now you can check settings.
There is probably Joomla bug (?), because login redirect doesn't work.

Oh it was from 1.04 to 3.3 pro immediately via the update functionality.

Hi,
first - in Manual we have short info how to upgrade. And JUMP from 1.x to 3.3 never was a good idea.
I suggest you to recover site from backup. I hope you have it, if not, ask your hosting provider.

Then Install SPPB Pro 1.4 (I can send you if you do not have)
Then Install SPPB Pro 2.5.x (it's avaiable in download section)
Then you can install SPPB Pro 3.3.

BTW
I only wonder why you had 3 years NO UPDATE break. Madness.

v1.04 was published in July 2015.

Hi Paul, the reason was...it worked....and there was no need to update. Now we want to update the site and bring it back to the latest version. The update is being done in staging environment first so no problem doing it via that update path. Please send met that 1.4 version.

there was no need to update.

In general I understand rule "do not touch until it works", but in meantime there was SECURITY update.

I will send you in next 3min. Check PM.

Ok, sent.
Remember to clear Joomla and Browser cache after each update.
After you will install 2.5.x check if you have all pages.

Ok, PB is now on 2.5 and in the backend all pages are still there. But Now I get 404 on all pages in the frontend.

You had old version of JCE as well.
We repeat like Matra to update ALL extensions !
If you are not sure, check on developer site, one by one.

Error 404 on menu items are because you added static URL instead of component view .... and in meantime Joomla changed way of generate links.
Please correct all menu links. Few years ago, you (or someone) made it in wrong way.

Yes, I installed SP Page Builder 3 and all Pages are still there.
Now all should be okay after you'll correct menu items.

Have fun.

Hi Paul,

The changes you made cause the menu to appear different, the menu was transparent with a grey area in the image to make that menu visible. Now the image is below the menu with that grey area visible. How can that be reversed?

Also when I add a new menu item according the old structure, http://staging2.geotech.nl/15-aluminium-pigments, it still works as before, see under products, test menu item.

Any idea why all the links are no longer working like that?

Edwin

Wow, even more strange, it seems all links are working now like they were before. I just tried all of them and I get no 404 on any page.

The only issue there still is is when I try to loging the Fatal error: Class 'Helix' not found in /home/geotech/staging/2/templates/shaper_glamour/error.php on line 10 error.

1 link doesn't work I have 404, so I do not see "vs"
But I am pretty sure that I didn't change anything in layout/design
----
Question about links, is not for me but for Joomla core team.
We are JoomShaper support, not Joomla support.
---
As I know all errors 404, are caused by not existing links - I do not see relation with out products.

About last problem, login --- checking now...

You get the 404 because I reverted your changes after I discovered the site was working fine again apart from the login.

thanks,
what is weird.
On raw joomla 3.8.12 with glamour I cannot reproduce this error.

Edwin

More than a month ago #Permalink
So what are you saying? It´s my problem not Joomshaper? You see the error on the staging environment what occured after the upgrade, right?

Paul Frankowski - Staff

More than a month ago #Permalink
I didn't say that, I said that we couldn't reproduce this message on clean installation with this same template.

Edwin

Oh sorry, I misunderstood your remark. I tried replacing the error.php by the working one from the live site but no change other than the error occured on another line.

I hope you will be able to find some kind of solution for it.

Did you sent me access to that site in past?
If not, please do it.
I will ask developer tomorrow to take a look.

Edwin

Yes I did via PM, thank you.

@Edwin
on that site: staging2.geotech.nl
I have only classic 404 error message from template, nothing more, no extra errors.
So please remind me what is wrong?

Maybe it is better to continue on this topic https://www.joomshaper.com/forums/update-template-glamour?start=0#reply-159175

I had them seperated for not mixing the two problems but now they ended up mixed anyway. But to keep it clear also for others for future reference maybe better to continue on the other topic.
