3.4.9 Page builder - Module edition Issue

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
After I upgraded on the newest version of page builder PG module can't be adjusted from the backend admin ??? There is only the button "Edit with SP Page builder" that wants me to edit it from the frontend, but on the frontend, some command like "column option" is not visible!!! What is going on? I hope this is only the temporary bug since editing modules from the front end in many cases is extremely annoying.

Is it possible to go back to the previous version after the installation of the newest version? Please advise, Thanks

P.S. I am lucky, I found the 3.4.7 zip file... and install it back... the question about the New version remains... is this "Edit with SP Page builder" button just a bug or this will stay ???

Hi,
yes, it was introduced in v3.4.9.
---
At least I will ask to improve that area, I noticed a similar problem with a new template.

Hello, I am using SP Page Builder for several years. Now it is the first time that I am facing a real and huge problem. I also have problems since the last update to version 3.4.9. I found no way to edit the content of modules from the backend. As a consequence I tried to edit it from the frontend. BUT: After changing module content from the frontend - button "Edit with SP Page builder" - the content of the module is suddenly invisible at the website. Is that a bug? Do I have to go back to a previous version? That is really critical! Markus

Hi Markus, go back to the previous version until they fix this. I did it and everything is fine now.

We changed the system of module edition, in 3.4.9
In which template you have a problem?

Temporary (today) you can install older version 3.4.8 or recover a site from backup.

Yes, I have site backup but from 3 days ago and during these 3 days I did many modifications ... anyway, I have instaled 3.4.7 version and it works fine, but .8 would be even better in case .9 will stay this way

Thank you very much. I hope that the issue with the .9 will be managed soon as well. Regards

Maybe taking the link to 3.4.9 down and restoring the link to 3.4.8 would make sense. At least it would limit the impact of this.

Only those who do nothing do not make mistakes. As I said before, we will try to fix it soon.

As I told a few times in last days, it will be fixed in 3.5.

Today/Tomorrow should be SPPB update which will return Admin edition, but please use backup first (!)

p.s.
hosting support also have a backup of your sites, or it should have them

I just did a install of the 3.4.10 - now the backend still doesn't work but all content is back again. No need to recover the backup of your site. just wait for the next update :-)
