Hi,
In Helix Options > Blog > Images
remove image size for selected size which was used there
and upload images again
Unfortunately your suggestion seems to solve the problem only for the detail pages of the articles, while for the pages of the categories or other modules or addons the image is cut or the thumbnail version is used which helix creates in any case with the standard 200x200 measures see here: https://www.geosism-geologia.com/geo the article with the green word GEOSISM is unwatchable.

So if not for demo images helix is unusable, because instead of the 'crop' do not use the 'resize' function preserving the aspect ratio? in many modules this method is used to manage images or at most, in a very little optimized way, never use the 'crop', it seems to me a serious problem to have decent photos on the site, in the case of Finatic in many situations the images are not responsive or brutally cut.

I have also tried other themes like Themis and they have the same problem even if you don't notice as much on 'Themis' in the demo images as the cut doesn't change the photo but in most of the cases the photo must be seen completely not only a piece for me your templates are no longer usable with this problem, in helix3 the problem was minor but now in helixultimate it is serious.

Hi there,

Thanks for your query. Please follow the instructions.

Turn off thumbnail generator
https://prnt.sc/pmvxt6

-Thanks
Of course I have already made those settings both in Finetic and in Themis and the thumbnail is generated anyway and consequently in some situations it is used.
As I said earlier the ideal would be not to use the 'crop' but 'resize' mode so now I am in big doubt whether to use your templates and having to do many css and layout changes to avoid using thumbnails or changing framework momentarily .
I have been using your templates with satisfaction for many years, especially for ecommerce, but in this site the blog is the main part and I have to decide quickly, I hope you consider my suggestion to change the image processing mode or even better to allow the choice and you will again be at the forefront of this aspect compared to others.

Hi there,

Thank you for your response. You can use images & links instead of the Helix blog option.

-Thanks
Ok you're right, but I should change layout and css anyway to make them see correctly and in full mode.
