Page Builder K2

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
SP Page Builder 3 - Addon - Articles
When adding an 'Articles' addon into a page and selecting K2, there is no option to select individual categories.

I think there was in previous versions as some of the older pages created appear to have specific K2 categories selected somehow.

Hi,
Selecting Categories works only for core Joomla articles.
We do not plan invest time for K2 anymore.

To be honest, are you sure that using K2 is still needed?
K2 component have gotten only one update in 2017 (Aug).

In this case yes, there are many articles pages created with K2 in the site. I was redesigning and decided on the SP Page Builder becouse it supported using K2 articles. Did the previous version support K2 category selection?

SP Page Builder 2.5.x can be still downloaded.
But I am not sure. I don't use K2 anymore.

Basically, with the K2 plugin for SP Page Builder, I think at one point, you could choose a category. Now I don't see the K2 plugin even available for SP Page Builder, but I had it installed when it was available.

Selecting the categories like you see in the image below would sure be great if that feature worked for the K2 plugin and SP Page Builder 3.0.

I will tell it in other way...
Last K2 component update was Aug 2017, yes it was almost year ago.
So what is the future of that component, bright or dark ?

That is no good, no updates from k2.

Can you development team make an extension for an blog into the joomshaper extensions, then people do not need k2 blog or other blogs. Like Fixter template, so people can use them for other websites. It must also be listed in alphabetical or date order

Joomla Articles are so powerful, that you don't have to even think about K2.
Anyway for lazy guys, there is EasyBlog component.

i know. there is an blog function in joomla. used without k2 or other blog plugins. But it will be easier if there is like fixter an blog layout on alphabetical or date order build in in sp builder. See images. Different kind of blog layouts in sp builder and then that people can choose alphabetical order or date order
