Page formatting getting lost (Strings template)

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
I have two websites -- fishersmusic.com and theswitchtheatre.com.

FishersMusic.com uses the Kidzy template. TheSwitchTheatre.com uses the Strings template. Both websites use the Events Booking component from Joomdonation. On FishersMusic.com when I click on the "Details" button of any of my events, the details page opens and looks correctly formatted -- text can be read, etc. However, when I click on the details button on TheSwitchTheatre.com website, the details pages are unreadable. The text is white on a white background. I also notice on the details page on TheSwitchTheatre.com website the page header info (Helix menu) is lost on the details page. I can't figure out how or why this is happening. Any suggestions?

Examples of what I'm talking about (just click details button on both of these pages):

FishersMusic.com: http://www.fishersmusic.com/index.php/en/programs/register-here

TheSwitchTheatre.com: http://www.theswitchtheatre.com/index.php?option=com_eventbooking&view=upcomingevents&layout=timeline&id=0&Itemid=590

Hi,
Thanks for your query. I found you are using a third party extension and the css of that extension is causing this. You can use this css into your custom css and that'll solve the issue.

#eb-event-page .eb-description,
#eb-event-page .eb-box-heading {
background: none;
}
.view-event #sp-title .sp-page-title {
display: block;
}

Here is the custom css field https://prnt.sc/ijudw8

Well, that CSS above did fix the issue on the pages mentioned in the OP, but I'm having the same issue on a new page (http://www.theswitchtheatre.com/calendar) -- click details of any event and the event details are white text on white background. I'm sure there is a CSS fix similar to above to make this work, but I'm starting to think that maybe I should switch to a light/white theme for the background.

So I copied the default template and I changed the background color from black to white; and I changed the text from white to black. Saved that. Made that template the default. It did not change the website look. So now I'm thinking this template has CSS somewhere that is overriding the template settings?

Any advice how I can go about making template color changes that have an effect on the site?

Thanks for your query. I've found that you are using a pagebuilder addon there and you can change the title text color from the addon.
Btw you can use this css to solve the issue for all pages.

#sp-bottom1 .sppb-addon-cta h4, #sp-bottom1 .sppb-addon-cta p{
color: #000 !important;
}
#sp-bottom2 .acymailing_module_form .fieldacyemail input {
background: #cdcdcd !important;
}

-Best Regards
