Pagebuilder layouts used on category blog pages

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
At present we can use the content plugin to use SPPB within Articles which is great as this means we can still make use of a variety of other extensions which connect to Joomla Articles.

However, it seems like we can't currently get SPPB content stored in an article to load in category blog style pages - is this something which might be feasible to do? So we can create nice, complex layouts within articles with all the joys that SPPB brings us but if we display those articles in a category blog layout it's always the default article content which is shown, not the SPPB content.

Is there a way to get SPPB content loading in category blog layouts too?

Hi,

We have made this addon for New template Newskit. We will try to add this feature in future inside the page builder. But, don't have the plan to do immediately.

-Thanks

Thanks Toufiq - so this is an addon which is added into an SPPB layout rather than the standard category blog layout being able to load SPPB content?

Out of interest does it load content from articles or from other SPPB pages? Since we have the ability to categorise SPPB pages (though this categorisation doesn't seem to be used at all) does this mean you can load all SPPB pages from a certain category, similar to a category blog behaviour?

Would be interested in seeing this added if possible.

Hi,

I would like to really see this addition too. For us it is o9f vital importance that our customers can create Joomla articles using SP Pagebuilder content plug, and allow that content to show in category blogs.

Would love to hear about an ETA or possible beta access to this article addon

IMHO, it doesn't make much sense to show each individual page layout in the blog. I understand your idea and I also see the current restrictions... however, I could imagine a feature, which marks or extracts a certain section/row to act like the J! article Intro part.
Aside it would make more sense to me, if the pagebuilder or even the helix framework would serve common layouts for certain contexts. Maybe on category basis... I mean, you create a layout as usual, but "assign" it to a certain context/URL. Layouts would consist of dynamic "data placeholders", and almost NO static content. Except for modules or special content.
(BTW, all major WP PageBuilder solutions seem to follow this concept)
