Problem with addon-parser.php and php 7.3

Featured Lock Resolved Task
I have a problem with sp_pagebuilder after updating the php version to 7.3. I now get the warning: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in /.../components/com_sppagebuilder/parser/addon-parser.php on line 574

Do you have an update for php 7.3?
Or how can I solve this problem?

Hi,
1) With PHP 7.2 did you notice this error as well?
2) What template name you have there?
3) On all subpages you see this error message or only selected?

I am asking because I have few private sites on PHP 7.3 with no errors.

Hi Paul and thank for your reply.

1) I didn't notice the same errors when I'm using the site under php 7.2
2) I'm using the simple template Helix3
3) The error message only appears on some pages. The home page and the blog summary of articles for example.

I hope that gives you some clues.

ad 2) Raw Helix3 or template based on Helix3 like Flex (from Apikko)?
It's a very important difference.

The last questions:
1) On this "broken" subpages do you use Call To Action addon?
If yes, please disable and check again

2) what addon folders you have inside this folder?
templates\shaper_helix3\sppagebuilder\addons

Hi Paul,

thank you for your hints. Yes, I use the Call to Action addon on these *broken* pages. I have disabled them and got no error message and abled them again and the error message was displayed again.

Furthermore I use serveral special addons like: call_to_action, image_content and testimonialpro which need a subdirectory. They are listetd in the directory "/templates/shaper_heli3/sppagebuilder/addons".

call_to_action addon is NOT supported anymore
It was removed from Helix3, but probably you had an old package.
Please delete, and do not use it.
Instead, use Feature addon.
