Problem with start / home page

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Dear Joomshaper team.

first of all congrats to your great product. I love it since years, but now have a problem, where I need your support.

I set up the page "https://www.neles-atelier.com" based on your ares/portfolio template, where the start page of menu "indiviual menue" should be the start page, which is marked as "default". However it doesn't display, it is always the page "home" of "main menue".

I suspect, it may has to do with mutilingual properties of the site, but im not sure how to solve it.

I also suspect, this prob has been adressed before here: https://www.joomshaper.com/forums/problem-with-home-1 but I can't see how it is beeing solved.

Best regards and thnaks for help.

Hi Toufiq,

I installed Helix 3 as recommended, but no change, Please understand, that I do want to use your template ARES MURPHY, not just Helix 3.

Not sure, if my problem is well understood. Attached you will find 2 images to explain. I like to achieve a start page for "https://neles-atelier.com" like attached image beach.png. This is the page which is linked using SP Pagebilder and Joomla menue 'Individual Menue' as default page 'Start'.

However, what I get, is an output as attached image beach.png. I haven't tagged this page in Joomla menue as default (start page), so how can I prevent it from beeing displayed and get my beach page as start page under "https://neles-atelier.com"?

Does this makes the issue clearer?

Best regards

I managed to solve the problem in the meantime. For all, experiencing the same issue, this is what you need to do:

1) Navigate to the Joomla backend menue "Menus" and choose Home-Eng
2) Unselect the "default" option in coloumn "Home", represented by the country flag (Union Jack)
3) Do the same in Menu "Home-Fr" and "Home-Ar".

Obviously the portfolio home page was triggered by the "default" tag in the other lanuage start menues.

Hope that helps, as this problem has been described quite often. Image attached.
