Responsiveness Galaxy Tab S4

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi Guys!

When I test the responsiveness of my website on the Galaxy Tab S4, I notice that my pages are shown in their mobile version and not as tablet version. The Tab S4 screen is only slightly smaller than my iPad (on which it works just fine). Is this a problem that other users experience as well?

The paddings and margins look really weird because it shows the mobile version on my Tab S4. Any setings I can change to prohibit this from happening?

Cheers in advance!

Pieter

Hi Toufiq,

Thanks for your reply. I'm aware of the column settings and how to work with them. Like I said in my first message, the responsiveness on my iPad is just fine (see attachment). The problem starts to occur on the Tab S4 as it shows the mobile version for some reason.

Ideas?

Hi Toufiq,

I'm not sure what you mean with your first question.

Let me clarify using this test page: https://www.admicom.nl/component/sppagebuilder/?view=page&id=310

The content on this page is only visible for mobile devices. Yet it shows the content on my Tab S4, which is not a mobile device, but a tablet (see attachment).

The Tab S4 has the standard dimensions, 10,5 inch.

Kind regards,

Pieter

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. We covered the bootstrap responsive sizes. But, Your device size doesn't exist on bootstrap. That's why occurred the problem. You have to add a CSS class inside the addon or row settings and have to write media query CSS code under this CSS class.

-Thanks
Hi Toufiq,

Thanks for your reply. The problem occurs on all our (80+) pages. To add a CSS class in all the rows on these pages requires a lot of time. Is there a better workaround?

Also I'm quite surprised this device doesn't exist on bootstrap as it is one of the most common Samsung models.

Kind regards,

Pieter

Hi there,

Please send me the Joomla administrator access. I will write down media query css code for you.

Note: 10.5inch = 1008px device checked. But, no problem found.

Thanks
Hi Toufiq,

I'm afraid I can't share the administrator access with you. Is there an alternative way you can provide me with the query?

Kind regards,

Pieter
