Section ID links

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi

I have successfully linked (in http://jfbdesigns.co.za and http://eldilo.co.za) the top menu to Section ID's by using an external URL linked to #link-name in the menu. But this only works on a one-pager website.

I want to know how I can link buttons to Section-IDs in the same page? Surely this should be possible? I tried to use the same URLs as in the external URL in the menu, but it does not work.

Please advise?

Regards,

Thank you for your reply. I have found a way around this. I load an extra horizontal menu at the top (I made an extra position for it on the template first) which only appears on this specific page, and link that to the section ID's.

I think if I understand correctly you want to put a link in a menu to a position within the same page. To that using Page Builder you can..

Add a Row
Cog Icon Row Options,
Set the Section ID for example set this as: Contact1
Save and close
Create a new Joomla Menu item External URL set the link as #Contact1

Then for multi-page;
The easiest way I can think of is:
1, Duplicate your Joomla Menu and customize as required
2, Duplicate your Template style sheet and point it to the new menu duplicate
3, Associate your other page to the new style sheet
