Section management : add function to hide in front end trough button or like that

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Joomla : 3.9.13
SPPB : 3.6.4

I'm not talking here about the 'disable' function that allows to remove the section of the site.

For now it is impossible to add Table add-on on Accordion add-on.
This is a problem when the table is very long.

The purpose of this post is to find a solution (temporary) to hide this long table thanks for example to a button that would show or hide this table (or other add-on).

Does anyone have a solution?

May be it is possible to add a function on the "button" add-on to have the possibility to hide a "section or row" by his ident.

Thanks

Claude

Hi there,

Thanks for your query. Your query is very useful to us. There is no option to add the Table addon inside the accordion or tab addon. If you want to hide the row section, Please check the screenshot.

Also, Addon settings exist this feature

Hi Toufiq

Thanks for your answer

I misspoke.
My request is for the possibility of collapsing a section (or an add-on) from the site (outside the builder page).
Trough a button (for example) defined on SPPB section (or add-on) settings.

Is it more clear for you ?

Note : i know perfectly possibilities to HIDE section or add-on for certain devices but it was not the subject.

Excuse me for not being clear and precise.

Thanks

Claude

Hi there,

Thanks for the explanation. Still, now it's not clear to me. Would you please share a screencast video or sample screenshot? It would be better to understand.

Hello Toufiq

First i want to precise terms to use (for me) :
* Section : it is a set of rows (surrounded by green line in front end)
* row : it's a set of columns (surrounded by a blue line in front end)
* column : it's the smallest element, it contains an add-on
* add-on : content element

Note1 : often a line contains only one column and therefore only one add-on
Note2 : sometimes, joomshaper mix section and row (I will do another post for that)

Back on demand

A section is compose of one title (and sub title) and one content containing included rows
My request is to collapse the whole content of section except the title that will be used to uncollapse the content when we clic on.
The collapsing is configurable (collapse or uncollpase by default)
A click on the title collapse the content, another click uncollapse the content

We can imagine the same thing on a row
In this case we have a problem because the notion of row does not really exist in SPPB. It only exists through column or the add-on.

This technically easy to perform feature allows to collapse a section that contains non-collapsible add-ons in accordions, for example long tables.

So is it more clear for you ?
I remain at your disposal to enlighten things.
