Setting Article to Registered changes blog layout view

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
I want to change some articles to 'registered', but when I do this, the blog layout view changes.

For example:

When they are set as public, the view which I want is:

public.png

but setting any article to registered changes the view to:

registered.png .

Please advise.

Hi there,

Thanks for your query. I have checked the same thing, but no problem found. Could you send me your site administrator access via PM?

-Thanks

I've decided to go another route and wrap my articles within an add-on in Page Builder.

However, I've now hit another problem.

In standard Joomla, setting the article to 'registered' allows the user to view a thumbnail view, and is then notified of the need to log in upon trying to open the article.

In PB, putting the article in an add-on and setting the article to registered shows nothing! Only an empty space is displayed where the article should be!

How can I replicate Joomla functionality of showing a thumbnail AND setting the article to registered AND displaying it in an article add-on in PB?

The two screenshots describe the problem.

First, the article is set as public:

article-set-as-public.png

But when set as registered:

article-set-as-registered.png

The article is contained within an article add-on, set to public access.

I've pm'd you with the login details.

No, the article is NOT displayed by the Page Builder Article add on when the article is set to registered. It can only be viewed when the user is logged in.

My original question was how to display teaser intro text for registered articles within the PB article add on for ALL users, regardless of them being logged in or not.
