Shortcode differences

Featured Lock Resolved
I installed the Helix-II quickstart along with a clean joomla! version in localhost to see the differences and how it works.

I noticed that there is difference in the accordion shortcode you use, [accordion id="sc-accordion"] and the code [accordion] you prompt the users to get. Why is this difference and how important (or not) is it and why you use it? Is there a list of such advanced code and how important is it to know about it? (pic. accordion)

I also noticed that there is no code available in the "Alert" section, (pic. Alert), and to obtain it, someone has to check the article in the quickstart installation, (pic. Alert2)

Please let me know if I'm missing something here because I'm a total beginner and I don't want to go any further lacking the knowledge of important information, because knowing is always a time saver.

Thank you, looking forward for your answer.

Dear Nikos
Its make no difference if you remove the id from accordion. We used the id for flexibility.
On alert page there is no code currently available but you found the whole code of this page into the alert page. You found the alert page configuration into the article manager.

Great question, Nikos, glad you asked it. Hope you get a response!

I guess I can make a new Joomla installation with the Helix 2 Quickstart to get the info I'm lacking.

Hi Sohan

Flexibility for the site or to your reference? Is there a list of those shortcode commands? Anyway, as I mentioned in my earlier post I figured all that out, by installing the quickstart.

Thanks Laurie,

The quickstart installation is something I finally recommend to everyone who wants to use a specific template. One quickstart installation and one clean with all the components and modules.
