Shrink the slide width and add a menu module

Featured Lock Resolved
Is it possible to shrink the size of the slide container and float it towards the right, and create a position in the remaining gap in the left for a joomla menu module. I am not sure whether this is the appropriate forum, or if this has been asked before, but I want to know this can be done by entirely recoding the shaper template css and not touch any of the joomla default css codes. http://www.joomshaper.com/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/shaperquestion.jpg

Publish your slideshow module in position 'slide1' and all user modules like user1-user4 modules move to content1-content4.

I have not defined positions slide1 or content1 -content4. So nothing shows up.
Actually What I really wanted was to create a 'left position' on the template left to the slides positions and the all the user1-user6 positions. Currently the left-position is below the slides and the user positions. Is this possible?

You need to modify the layout. Copy layout.php from the "plugins/system/helix/layout" folder to your template layout folder and edit it. Also edit the templates index.php file. But you can do almost everything you wanted by without changing the layout but publish module in different positions. Please study our module positions.

"plugins/system/helix/layout"? Can't find it.
