Slideshow Addon creates duplicate hash in address

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
This addon creates a duplicate hash in the address of the background image. This causes the background image to display (or not) depending on which browser you use. If you are having issues getting a background image to load, check this out.

Consistency in programming would fix this. However, in the absence of that, here is the fix:
Locate the file named /components/com_sppagebuilder/addons/js_slideshow/site.php
Make a backup, just in case.

On or around line 493 of this file, you'll see (line numbers don't match up here):

if(isset($item_value->slider_img) && $item_value->slider_img){
if(strpos($item_value->slider_img, "http://") !== false || strpos($item_value->slider_img, "https://") !== false){
$output .= '<div class="sp-background" style="background-image: url('/.$item_value->slider_img.');"></div>';
} else {
$output .= '<div class="sp-background" style="background-image: url('/. JURI::base() . '/' . $item_value->slider_img .');"></div>';

On line 497 is the issue:

JURI::base() . '/' . $item_value

Remove '/' .
Your code should now look like:

JURI::base() . $item_value

Use at your own risk.
