Slideshow Pro SP2 too fast!

Featured Lock Resolved
Hello,

I need more time to display each slide!

I have modified the "interval" value of the module many times: in the editor, the database and the mod_slideshow_pro_sp2.php file, but it keeps sliding too fast!

Please help me.

Do not change anything from the mod_slideshow_pro_sp2.php file. There is an option to change speed from the module parameter. You need to set Speed value as ur need.

Hello,

I have the same problem with slide interval.
No matter what value I set for interval, the slides keep switching after approx. 5 secs.
Setting speed to higher value changes only the speed of the transition itself, not the interval between the transitions.
Layout: Standard
Animation type: slide-horizontal
Animation transition: linear
I've cleared joomla cache and browser cache. Still the same.
How can we resolve this?
Thanks.

Higher the speed value will decrease faster animation.

This was not my point. Adjusting the speed value works for transition speed but is not what we are looking for. We want to show a slide for 10 seconds and than start the transition to the next slide. This can not be accomplished by adjusting the speed value.

It seems like the transition interval value is hardcoded because adjusting the value for interval doesn't change anything. It would be really great to make this feature work as it is supposed to.

Please help.

Thank you for the fast reply.
I already know that interval and speed are defined in milliseconds. I tried different values between 10000 and 50000 but it doesn't make a difference. Slides switch always after about 5 secs.

Seems this is a bug. Open default.php and paste below code
interval: <?php echo $interval; ?>,

just above this line
fxOptions: {duration: <?php echo $speed; ?>, transition: Fx.Transitions.<?php echo $transition; ?>},

Great, that did the trick. Now it works :)

Thanks a bunch for the great and quick support!

Same problem here with the default layout – all other layouts working fine. The default.php code looks like your fix

var spSlide<?php echo $uniqid ?> = new slideshow_sp2($('sp-slide<?php echo $uniqid ?>'), {
size: {width: <?php echo $width ?>, height: <?php echo $height ?>},
interval: <?php echo $interval ?>,
fxOptions: {duration: <?php echo $speed; ?>, transition: Fx.Transitions.<?php echo $transition; ?>},
transition: <?php echo "'" .$effects. "'"; ?>

…but it does not take effect.

Are there some other ideas?

I have this problem too. But, I can't seem to find the default.php file. Which folder is it in?

Update the module and lower the duration from the module parameter.

I have absolutely no idea what this means. Can you give me step-by-step instructions? Thank You.

ok, Download the module again and install in your site. Now, login to your joomla and click on Slieshow Pro sp2 module from module manager. Now, set the duration from the module parameter.

It wouldn't let met download the module because my subscription expired. Do I have to pay again to fix this bug?

I think Alpha is using bug free module. What value you put for the Duration?

It is in the Binary template. Interval value doesn't seem to matter. I have tried values from 0 to 150000.

Ok, goto "templates/shaper_binary/html/mod_slideshow_pro_sp2" folder and open "default.php" file. Now add below line

interval: <?php echo $interval ?>,

after
size: {width: <?php echo $width ?>, height: <?php echo $height ?>},
