Hi,
the main question is...
do you have this problem with all SPPB modules or only selected one?
Create a new one, and test again. Thanks.

I have this problem with every sp module created or modified by the users of the administrator group...
creating a sp module as super user everything works fine if I try to modify the same module as an administrator and the error comes up.
I tried these procedures on different websites with the same result

Error 500 =/= Error 403 - which should be presented if any...
On my site, I couldn't reproduce that error.

@Stefano is it possible to send me via Private Message access to your site where you have this Error 500.
I need Super User account and normal Administrator account
