SP Page Builder content shown inconsitently

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi,

We have a SP Page Builder page (using article integration) with two rows: a text block and a button. This page behaves weird both in the back-end and the front-end.

In the back-end the user that added the text in the block can see it when editing the text block addon. When another user logs on in the back-end, the text is not visible in the addon of the SP Page Builder tab of the article. However, both users can see the text in the Joomla editor tab of the article.

In the front-end, when using Firefox, the text is visible for a very short moment during the loading of the page, but then it disappears. When using another browser, like Chrome, MS Edge or Opera, the text is shown as intended, without any problems.

What is going on here? How can we fix this?

The URL to the page is https://www.tumbador.be/joomla4/index.php/doe-een-gift

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply with screencast video. This is not a problem. This content appeared for the search result. While lots of content appear in the Page Builder then we facing difficulties to manage the search. That's why this is the different tricks we have applied. You can use without any fear.

-Thanks

Thank you for your help, Toufiq.

I have made two screencasts (https://files.fm/u/2k3u3j5z), one for the MS Edge and the other for the Firefox browser. I have done the exact same steps in the two browsers (both browsers are up to date, and did have all history cleared):

- log on in the Joomla back-end
- navigate to the "Doe een gift" article
- show the text of the article as it appears in the Joomla editor tab
- navigate to the SP Page Builder tab
- go to the text in the text block addon to show what is there (or not)
- preview the website and navigate to the "Doe een gift" article

As you will see, the two browsers behave differently, both in the front-end and back-end. For your information, this behaviour does not happen all the time. Other articles using the SP Page Builder editor tab are working just fine.

Hi Toufiq,

I'm afraid you have misunderstood the problem. My point is not that I see content in the Joomla editor of the article. I understand you do that as a trick for the search function.

The problem I have is that the same article behaves differently, both in the back-end and front-end. It is litteraly the same article. We have tested this with various computers, and some people see the article without the text block content, and some see it with. I have replicated that issue as the screencasts show.

I could potentially understand that the front-end behaves differently due to browser differences. But I really don't get why the back-end is showing the right content in the text block of the SPPB tab of the article, and no content at all in the other.

Could you have another look please? Let me know if the question is not clear.
