SP PAGE BUILDER PRO add-on missing ?

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Dear Sir,
In JoomShaper last template ( Qubic ) you use SP PAGE BUILDER, i like this template and i bought SP PAGE BUILDER PRO to make my template same as a demo.

In my SP PAGE BUILDER PRO I could not find this add-on ( Animated Headlines - Latest Posts - Slideshow (Full Width) - Social Icons - Teams ) in add-on list and you use this in ( Qubic ) template.

Is there other package for SP PAGE BUILDER PRO ?

Could you please explained ?

Thank you

Just goto templates/shaper_qubic/sppagebuilder/addons then copy any addon to another template same directory.

Thanks

Hi Ashraf,

Please install the Qubic Quick Start package and you will find the "Animated Headlines", "Latest Posts", "Slideshow (Full Width)", "Social Icons" and "Teams" SP Page Builder Pro add-ons sitting pretty there for you right away (see them on my screenshot attached below).

Alex

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your help, but I do not want to use SP Page Builder Pro as you say by ( Quick Start package ), This method is not logical.
I bought SP Page Builder Pro and all add-on should be with the package ?
I want to build my website by using my SP Page Builder Pro.

Thank you

Hi Ashraf,

Those add-ons are only shipped with SP Page Builder within the Qubic Quick Start pack and installing Qubic Quick Start pack and replacing its demo content with your own content assets is the best way for you to mimic the Qubic demo site.

Alex

If you want to use one template feature to another then you need to do it by yourself. We will frequently create addons for templates according to requirements which will not be included with Page Builder Pro.

Btw, you can always copy addons from one template to another and they will work some cases.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi guy,

I have the same problem here. Let me explain my problem...

I have multiple website (different Joomla installation) using single (one) database in the same server. I wanted to use Qubic template in one of the site, so that means I am unable to use quickstart, as I already have active database.

So, I installed Qubic manually in one of the site. Now, in this site I have 41 add-ons in Page Build, where as Qubic quickstart demo has 46 add-ons. How do I add this 5 add-ons manually so that I can use all the 46 add-ons without using/installing Qubic Quickstart?

@andypage,

Hi there.

As standalone Qubic template doesn't install our SP Page Builder Pro component for you, you basically don't have anything to add those extra add-ons to. Your only option in this case is be to purchase SP Page Builder Pro, install it and then copy the add-ons from one of your Qubic Quick Start install, per Kowshar post.

Alex

Hi Alex,

I bought PageBuilder Pro and I copied it from the template add-ons folder as you mentioned, but I am unable to import the 5 add-ons.

Can you please help.

Take this language code and paste it into your shaper_helix3.ini language file, it will fix language errors:

#Addon Latest Posts#
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_LATEST_POSTS="Latest Posts"
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_LATEST_POSTS_DESC="Addon to display latest blog posts."
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_LATEST_POSTS_SELECT_CATEGORY="Select Category"
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_LATEST_POSTS_SELECT_CATEGORY_DESC="Select a categoty from the list. By default it will show posts from all categories."
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_LATEST_POSTS_LIMIT="Limit Items"
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_LATEST_POSTS_LIMIT_DESC="Items limit of latest posts."
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_SF_COLUMN_NO="Items per row"
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_SF_COLUMN_NO_DESC="Number of items per row"
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_SF_INTROTEXT_LIMIT="Intro Text limit"
COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_SF_INTROTEXT_LIMIT_DESC=""

COM_SPPAGEBUILDER_ADDON_SF_POSTED_BY="Posted By"

@Brian,

Please refrain from cross-posting, that is from posting the same post in more than one thread. Many thanks for your understanding.

To find the Latest Posts add-on folder, please see Kowshar's reply.

Sorry - but I did multiple searches in google trying to find the correct answer, and each post I found didn't give the full solution. So, if someone like me is searching for the correct full solution (looking in the right folder and fixing the language issue) they can find it on each post they find. I had to do multiple, different worded searches to get all the clues I needed to get the correct solution.

Hi

I have copied the 5 extra Qubic add-ons from the specified folder across to my components/com_sppagebuilder folder and the add-ons are now available, but as Brian mentioned the language file is missing the required items, can u clarify which language file from Qubic stores the extra add-ons details and which file in the PB Pro they should be added to?

Thanks
Kev

Hi

I have worked this out and here is a simple way to get the 5 additional add-ons into a PB installed site from the Qubic Quick Start without installing it..

First extract the Qubic Quick Start to a local folder

Then go to templates/shaper_qubic/sppagebuilder/addons folder

Copy the folders from here and upload using FTP to the recipient sites components/com_sppagebuilder/addons folder

This copies the extra add-ons but wait.... the language file is messed up for the extra add-ons..

So, from the extracted Qubic QS go to languages/en-GB - look for the file called en-GB.tpl_shaper_qubic.ini, open this file with a text editor, search for the term '#Page Builder Addons#'

Copy everything including this to the bottom of the file.

Then open from the recipient sites language/en-GB folder it's own template ini file, e.g. en-GB.tpl_gk_cloudhost.ini (where cloudhost is prob the name of your template)

Copy the text into the ini file and save..

Or download the file attached and use the text to add to your own template ini.

Thats it, now u have the 5 extra Qubic add-ons in your other site.

Hope that helps

Kev
