SP Pagebuilder pages translations with Falang?

Featured Lock Resolved
I have a website in 4 different languages. So, for every page that I want to construct with Pagebuilder, I need 4 versions. Is there a way to translate these pages with Falang? If not, is this on the to-do list for a future version? I think a lot of international users will need this feature.

Hi,

I am afraid that since we are providing a feature for the default joomla multilingual configuration, we won't implement Falang fields. Since Falang support can be added with the additional plugins, you should really contact Falang support to help you with this and provide Falang plugin for SP Page Builder

Hi,

SP Page Builder is using the default Joomla way of handling the multilingual content, where you can create versions of each Page for each installed language. There is no need for Falang and quite honestly I don't see the advantage of Falang compared to the default Joomla way

The advantage of Falang is that you don't need so many versions of your menu's, categories, articles, modules etc. It makes working with multilanguage content much easier.
Before working with Falang, I had 4 template copies, 4 mainmenu's, 4 sets of categories, 4 versions of each module, 4 versions of each article etc. Now I have one of each. Except for the PB Pagebuilder Pages. There I still need a seperate page for each language. With a lot of categories, articles, modules etc you easily loose the overview over your site in the backend. That's why I like to work with Falang.
Any chance that this could be in the development pipeline?

I seriously hope that joomla will change it's multilanguage system in the future because a lot of people are having problems with it and get lost in the backend of their site once they have more content. But, I will contact Falang and ask them for a solution as you suggested. Thanks.

I am also very interested to know if you are having any headway with the Falang developers.
Thanks

As per https://www.faboba.com/en/composants/sppbtranslate/presentation.html Falang is currently unable to support the SPPB v3 but will be updated soon.

Good News :D
Translate for SP Page Builder
https://www.faboba.com/composants/sppbtranslate/presentation.html

The last SP Page builder version : 2.4 (2018/10/05)
Translate for SP Page Builder component make your SP page builder translation simpler. You can use it with or WITHOUT Falang

You don't have anymore to duplicate the page to translate it. Translate only what is necessary. It's easier to mainaint all param's are the same for all langues.

Note : This extension is compatible with SP Page Builder 3. And you need to have at least the 2.5.4 SP Page Builder Pro version
