SP Pagebuilder - Space above menu

Featured Lock Resolved Task
How would I add around 75px above the menu to put a search bar, translation tool, and a few links? It is required for compliance.

I tried all of the margin and padding options for the positions but can't get anything to work.

If this template is based on Helix3, you have to create a new ROW above Header.
And there add Top1 and Top2 positions.

Hi there,

Please at first create the position. Then publish your desired module in this position.

Hello

I wasn't sure if it was the framework or the pagebuilder that was causing the issue so I took my best guess.

Creating a new row in the template is the first thing that I did but the menu covers the new row and all of the modules in it. I tried adding padding and margins but nothing works.

I have created a video screen capture to show my issue. Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pnHE-fzG5ji0NbvB6hYmeRnZjm01CBro/view?usp=sharing

Hello,

That resolved the bouncing screen but I still can't add anything above the menu. The menu covers any position that is added above it, regardless of the space that I add as pad or margin.

Do you know of a calendar module that I could use with the template that will not cause the issues?

John

@John probably it's simple z-index problem (layers order), which can be solved with one line of custom CSS. Share URL where you have it.

Its not the Z-index alone. It could be part of it, but the menu is at the top and will not move down to accommodate the space that I need above it for the search bar, site terms, and a few links. Login will be sent via private message.

Hello,

Thanks but that is the opposite of what we are looking for. We need to put something above the menu, not eliminate the space. I tried to adjust the new code that you added to the template (changing 0 to 50) but we still can't get it to move the menu down far enough to put the search bar above the menu as needed.

Please see the attached image for the end result that we needed.

I wonder you you haven't added a module positions above HEADER Row, like we have in many templates. It should be your first smart move.
Next time add screenshot in 1st post , thanks ;)

Next time add screenshot in 1st post , thanks ;)

Hello,

The first thing that I did was add module positions. I mentioned that in my first post. It didn't resolve the problem because the menu covers the modules. I tried adding space between the top modules and the menu to try to get the menu to appear below the search box module position and nothing works. At some point, my modules were deleted but they have been there the whole time.

I just checked the site and you added the module positions but the menu still covers it up, which was the original problem that I mentioned. Please see attached.

Normally would have done the mockup from the start but didn't have a computer with photoshop with me.

Perfect! Thanks so much. Not a problem. Just glad that you were able to get it done. I appreciate it.
