SP Portfolio Category Not Working

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
Installed version 1.4 SP Portfolio, However the Category Selection does not work, it's showing all categories and only the Ordering filter seems to work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem.

I'm trying to run multiple modules on the same page in sp page builder with different category selections.

Running joomla 3.7.4

Ok,

Beside the fact that the category selection doesn't work at all in the module. It doesn't respond well in mobile view. If you have a 4 column layout and look at it on a mobile device the 4 columns are squished together and it doesn't matter what layout you choose, same results. I would expect the columns to stack on a mobile device.

So, I'll look for something else to do the job.

Thanks, anyway

Hi there,

What do you mean by "it's showing all categories"? What is the actual issue? Please send me your site URL to check.

Thanks.

I have two mod_sp_portfolio modules on front page.

Each module has a different category selected and Ordering filter is title, descending. So I expect articles for the modules to be displayed from the selected categories and filtered by Title.

That's not happening, the category selection is ignored and only the ordering filter appears to work, so the same articles are being displayed in both modules based on the Ordering filter.

Question: How to send you secured username and password for development site?

Thanks, Burl

Hi there,

I just checked that. It's the module error. You can't show module twice based on category. We have noted it and let you know once we fixed it.

BTW, What is your overall goal? Do you want to show the only article based on category? If so, Why you don't use SP Page Builder Article Addon?

Thanks.

I'll create a screencast of the problem so we understand the problem as I see it and a possible solution. It will be another day before I can document it better. I'll check the sp page builder article and see if that will work in the mean time.

I'll send you a link to the screencast tomorrow.

Thanks, Burl
