sorry no public RoadMap for SP Property, but I can tell you that in upcoming version (next week) will bring:

1) Fixed Prices
2) Drag and Drop gallery upload system
3) New option add property as favorite
4) Currency option added property edit view
5) Fixed ordering in admin

However it is lacking a lot of 'standard' features compared to well established components like JomEstate, OS Property

Yes, We know but SP Property is quite new product, first time published last year (2017).
JomEstate & OS Property were created in 2014. I hope you see why now.
Many new features are planned for upcoming updates.

Thanks for your prompt reply Paul. I know, I know its a new product. It looks promising and I hope you will keep putting plenty of time on it to become our new favorite property component.

I have been struggling with joomla property components since 2008! Believe me, we need something fresh that works, is efficient, uses current trends and technologies (bootstrap 4 for example) and is updated regularly in the future. You know what you need to do...

I dont see a real benefit on adding those now. I would spend the development time to other functionality at the moment. When a property is SOLD you may want to keep it shown in the site for some time with a 'sold' ribbon but that's about it. If you really want to spend time on it, the End Publication date would be more useful in the case I described.

There are a few simple yet very important features that we are missing now.

We have a list of wishes for next update (screenshot),
but maybe you have some other ideas.

Ok I will post here missing funtionality to be considered for next release as well as any bugs that I have found up to now:

REQUESTED FEATURES:
1. Countries to be included in the filters and the search component next to Location. Now the 'Location' search box refers to Cities... But what happened to Countries? Need this asap.

2. Grouping of property features (e.g. Electrical Apliances Group with members: refrigerator, oven) that you show in the template in any place you want with a Group shortcode somehow.
See attached picture. I need a Group 'Electrical Apliances' that I now have to enter in one line . The result is ugly. The same for features with long names...

3. Free text box at the end of the features list to be able to enter notes or detailed feature descriptions....

4. Different type of Price ('Initial Price', 'Price', 'Price From') ... Initial price to appear with strikethrough line. Price the current selling price. Price From is applicable in Development Projects where not all properties hav the same price etc...

5. Tree struture on Categories (categories - subcategories with parents etc)

6. Property features list per Property Category. Less important. This is for administration purposes to show a specific property feature list depending on which type of property is created (e.g. an apartment will have a different list of features for the real estate agent to choose from for eas of use).

BUGS:
1. When I delete a feature, the tick remains on all properties that this featured used to apply! The only way to remove it is revisit all properties and saved them again! this need to get fixed asap

Price from?? I have checked at least 8 real estates websites, I have never seen this. Final Price you can always get during agent talk or owner talk. Nobody writes "Price start from"
Our component is for typical cases. Ready flat, home or land for sale.

Apart from the issue with long FEATURE names, I realy need to set the order the features appear.

It should be the order we set in the joomla backend... cannot figure out the order you use...

How can I edit the Status list names and order?
I just need 'for sale' and 'for rent'

So more Functional Requests :

8. The property FEATURE list that apper on the front-end should follow the order we set them in the joomla backend!

9. Propert Status to be editable like the feature list above and follow the order we set them in the backend (see (8) ).

10. Property Status - We should be able to select MORE THAN ONE status for each property. Moreover we should be able to choose which Status to be visible in the front end on the property details and on the search boxes.
This way we will have a VERY USEFULL tool to be used in conjuction with the 'Propert List' module to filter properties to be shown in various ways by creating STATUses and assigning them to properties creating OFFER Groups, Properties of the MONTH groups, Properties on SALE, or Groups of SPECIFIC properties to be shown....

11. Regarding the 'SP Property Categories' module: In order for it to be USABLE, we need the same filters as the SP Properties module (Agent, Status) as well as Location/City, Country... not just 'Limit' and 'Ordering'.

Hi, any news on the above? It has been 2.5 months now since I wrote them... some of them are really easy...

I urgently need to be able to edit the Property Status list (see 9 above) how do I do this?

Guys SP PageBuilder is doing its Job. Spend some time on SP Property instead. There is a need for something new that covers at least basic functional requirements (11 of them I have described above) and just works ;-)

The last update was during "Estate" template development.
I know that developers are doing something with component, but I guess with a new update you have to wait .
