SP Simple Portfolio display subcategories

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi,

If I add SP simple portfolio and select a category it doesn't display my subcategories (even gives an error if the main category doesn't have any specific items: "You Have An Error In Your SQL Syntax; Check The Manual That Corresponds To Your MariaDB Server Version For The Right Syntax To Use Near ') ORDER BY Id ASC' At Line 3";)

Is there a way to include the subcategories?

When you select all categories it does include the subcategories.

If there is no way to include the subcategories I will work around it with using multiple main categories. However I would have to duplicate some items in SP simple portfolio component to make them appear where needed. In which case a 'copy' item or 'save as' item button would come in very useful ;-) (also comes in handy when translating SP simple portfolio items to different languages)

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi there, Please share a screenshot that you want to do. I will add our to-do list. The developer team will decide your requirement. Thanks

Hi Toufiq,

I've attached the screenshots.

Right now, we have projects separated into subcategories by the year they were completed. So under 3D Pro Work, we have subcategories 2019, 2018, 2017, etc. I'd like to display only certain years in different modules, but on the page, I'd like to display all 3D Pro Work. Right now, if I choose 3D Pro Work, I get a 1064 MySQL error because all the projects are organized into subcategories by year.

Adding this option will give greater flexibility to Simple Portfolio. Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. Already I have added this issue in our working board. I hope the developer team will consider this feature. But, It needs time. Because of that, everybody is engaged in other projects.

Thanks
