hi , i had a membership with you and downloaded few templates
i m having a problem with SP VirtueMart Category Search
it is only searching within the selected category

Example
http://index.php/products/categories/shisha/ghost-rider-42-cm-bonza-acrylic-waterpipe-56-detail

The category here is Shisha, if you search for something that doesn't exist in shisha category , it won't come up in the search result

Hi Jean Pierre,

I am not sure what concerns you. You are right in saying that our SP VirtueMart Category Search module searches only within a category, just as its name suggests. What seems to be the problem?

Hi ,

if you are on a product details page , the search box will not search for anything outside the category that the product is registered under.
so if you are on the homepage , search for a product , click on it .... then on that page , if you want to search for a product that is not under the same category , it won't find it .

Hi there,

Once again, as the name of the module suggests, it has been written to be implemented on VM categories. For a search sitewide please seek for other extensions.

I have the same request.
I what the SP VirtueMart Category Search to search in all VM categories by default.
Is that possible?
