SP Weather

Featured Lock Resolved
Hi there... I am trying to use SP Weather for a city in Canada. It is Parksville in British Coumbia Canada. I do put in the city name and get some results; but they are not matching the weather forecast here in Parksville. Is there a way to have Parksville, BC, Canada show the true weather here?

Hi Tony,
please try whole name: Parksville, BC, Canada
it may help after Yahoo Weather changed their API request.

We have been in Canada on Joomla World Conference'06 few months ago.

This module works and then decides not to, even without disturbing it...
So now, I get this notice show in the attached...
It is annoying that it works and then it decides not to...
Cheers,
Tony

Damm, you're right. Sorry.
I will ask developer to fix it in next days.

Not yet. Sorry, but it was not a priority task. We had to focus on SP PB first.
but yes, I reminded developer.

I am also having the same issue on our module. Has this been resolved yet?

Nope, if you don't mind I suggest to use another weather module. It will be faster in that case.

Don't want to use another one...
I am relying on JOOMSHAPER...

What can we do? You guys are probably very busy and even if it takes you half a year, what's the worst that we can do? Not renew. Other than that, we must pretend we're patient.

Hello Tony Shaw,
Clear cache and then enter your city name again "Parksville, BC, Canada".

I think did the trick for my site. I'll report back if the error re-appears.

It's only a module, a free one by the way. So relax.

Paul. I am not sure what your role in this company is, however you could probably use a class or three of Customer Service. My God, you never tell a paying customer to relax.
True, it's free, but we rely on JoomShaper to fix these little bugs as, speaking for myself, am handicapped when it comes to coding. So how about a constructive comment, showing us how to fix this?

Any progress guys on this annoying SP Weather extension throwing the "Network is unreachable"? If solving this issue is never going to happen, could the staff suggest a different one?
