SPB pro upgrade from lite in helix ultimate

Featured Lock Resolved Task
I have tried to use my serial key to upgrade page builder to pro, since the layout comes with page builder lite, but whenever i enter the email and serial key and press save, it switches to the preexisting key and it stays on lite version. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
Sorry if this belongs to the page builder category and not the theme, wasn't quite sure what to pick since the issue is complicated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
SP Page Builder has Documentation > FAQ - also this topic was described.
-------
Anyway, you cannot update from Lite using a key,
first you have to download PRO version then install it.

1) Download Pro: https://www.joomshaper.com/downloads/extension/sp-page-builder-pro
2) Install it
3) Clear browser cache deeply (!)
4) Check Pro features
5) Check from 2nd, alternative browser to be sure.

Question is related to SPPB only, I changed the forum category to correct one. ;)

Thanks a lot, was actually afraid of installing over it, afraid of losing the ability to edit already made pages, but works fine!

Hello Paul

I want to Upgrade to Pro aswell but I am really afraid that it will mess up with my changes (including CSS).

Anything I have to consider before upgrading? And are there any chances that it will mess up the current structure and adjustments?

Thx a lot for your help and best wishes,
Mark

@Christoph / Mark
if you added CSS changes in template custom CSS or custom CSS fields they should remain,
but if you made core file customizations, you have to do them again, sorry.

Yes, read SPPB Documentation sections: How to tips and FAQ, I mentioned about backup (!) as well.
