SPPB Frontend editing not working - template OnePage

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi
Upgraded to SPPB 2.1 and template to 2.2.
Issues:
To have the template running we had to disable some functions in sppagebuilder/latest_posts/site.php. No, we can't use another template.
The FE edit button shows up but then there is nothing in the "bottom frame" for SAVE button.
We have an image slider on top under the menu. When enabling "edit" , the row edit button frame is positioned very top left but it is impossible to reach it. It disappears.
Ubuntu 12.04 - PHP 5.6.28 - Mysql 5.5 Client: FF50.0.2 on Ubuntu 16.04

Well, I guess we have to stick to BE edit until you have verified SPPB 2.x working with any template.

Hi,
We are working hard to make the compatible template for Pagebuilder 2.0 and make sure that you are using sppb 2.1 latest version. if you still getting this error then please share the screenshot of your browser console.

- Thanks

FYI we have version 2.1 of Nov 30. I can't find any newer.
The bottom gray frame are some 20px high and empty.
