SPPBuilder v3.4.4 Text Block Add-on does not update the live text in the frontend editor

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
Hello!

Try to edit a Text Block add-on text on the left side (in the builder editor) and notice the preview in the right is not updated automatically. Now try to update the text in the preview directly and you'll notice the editor box in the left is immediately updated. :o This use to work in the previous versions prior to v3.4.4. ;)

Thanks,

Jackson

Hi Jackson,
do you have JCE editor there?

Make a test and switch to TinyMCE for the test period and test again.

Hi Paul,

Yes, I am using JCE Editor. Well, I found out that the behavior is intermittent. But it will consistently do it if I delete all the Lorem Ipsum text in the Preview and start typing in the editor. Annoying but I can live with it. ;)

Thanks,

Jackson

If you have JCE Pro please contact with support Ryan -- maybe he can improve it in upcoming JCE 2.7

Hi Paul,

You guys as a developer should communicate with Ryan since your product is used with his. Honestly Paul, its a bad support pitch to tell me that the issue is with the component I am using with your product. That is an easy way out in your part but to me that's a bad support.

Granting that JCE is really the issue, have you guys pointed that out to Ryan? Don't you feel proud that your product works with other components? How are you going to sell your product if someone ask if it works well with JCE? Sorry, if you want to use SPPBuilder do not use JCE? :D That is a bad marketing pitch!

Thanks,

Jackson

Rayn also uses our SPPB product, but it's still his extension.
We only made integration script.
It's no shame to you to contact him as a client of both developers.
You can send him access to YOUR website, I cannot do that.

Hi Paul,

Don't get me wrong, I am not arguing with you but if that's how your company wants to support your client then it is good to know.

I am reporting issues to you while using your product. It is not about shame :D it is about support and how you are dealing with me as your client. I don't need you to give me a quick fix to the issue I am having but rather I am reporting the issue I am having. Just like I mentioned above, it is an annoying issue but I can live with it. But I expect you as my vendor to log this issue and at least give me an assurance that it will be looked into.

The problem with your answer is you are pointing me to another vendor and like you are saying that is their problem.

Thanks,

Jackson

It's on your site,
on mine seems to be OK,
so I guess your site can be a key to solve a puzzle
