SSL and SP Simple Youtube

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Shaper Financial Template, Joomla 3.4.3.
Enabled "Force SSL" for Entire Site under System, Global Configuration, Server.

SP Simple Youtube will not load/show up on page.

The SP Simple Youtube module only allows you to add the Youtube video id. How can I get this to work under SSL?

Thank you,

I did some testing. And I think the issue is in the mod_sp_simple_youtube\tmpl folder. I looked into, then edited the default.php file. The YouTube link has I edited it to

Once done, I uploaded it back to the site and it worked.

So, is there an 'over ride' or someway to do what I did that will not get over written if there is an update to SP Simple Youtube module?

I also noticed the same issue later with the Currency module, (SP Stock). It uses Yahoo. Same thing, I edited the default.php file in the tmpl folder. It was passing I edited it to and it worked as well.

Also, before making these modifications the SSL URL web address 'lock' was throwing a tantrum as it detected insecure items on the page. It was these two items.

SP Youtube and SP Stock.

So is there a way we can fix this?

Thank you in advance.
