SSPB and Joomla Readmore Breaks

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Is it possible to use Joomla's Readmore Break functionality (ie for category blogs) with SPPB?

So at present we can use SPPB within an article using the Joomla Articles plugin to create nicer layouts and we can create a category of content (ie "news";) and then create a category blog style page to display them all.

Using the default editor we can insert a read more break but it doesn't look like we can do this with SPPB? I tested it but the category page shows no content on it at all, despite there being several articles which I've added in that category.

Are the two things not compatible?

I guess using the "Articles" addon or another module which can be inserted into a PageBuilder page instead of using an Articles>Category Blog style menu link in the first place would be the route to take then?

Don't worry I was more just thinking aloud than looking for an answer.

What I meant was that normally if we wanted a page like a news page to show the latest x many items from a certain category we'd set up a category blog page and then use read more breaks to dictate what is shown on that initial landing page.

With SP Page builder, however, it seems like we can't use the page break functionality so what I am imagining would be that we'd create a Page Builder page then have to embed a module which does the work of displaying the items from the category instead, rather than using the category blog style page.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Got it your query. That you want to exactly use page builder. It's not possible using sp page builder (read more).

-Thanks
