Support of ARK editor in SPPagebuilder

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Hi guys,

I have mentioned before that i use Ark Editor.
Still it is not possible to use it.
I have bought a Developer account of Joomshaper because i love the builder.
I tried with the default Joomla editor and the JCE but both, i do not like them and get complains.
So can you please help me and support the ARK Editor in SPpagebuilder?

I would love that very very much :-)

If you need anything from me let me know, if you want me to connect you to the guys of Arkextensions i love to do that. I use there product for years now and I know that they are willing to help out.

Have a great day!

Hi,
SPPB + JCE 2.6.35 = works smoothly.

About ARK - hmm, I remember a similar request from the past, for sure I will ask our developer again.
By first time the answer was, not planned. As you know from your experience all integrations, have both advantages and disadvantages.

Hi,

Well, the combination is working smoothly.
I just do not know JCE and manage a lot of website's with ARK :-)
So my knowledge of possibility's is what ARK can do and my tutorials are always about Ark and how that works.

JCE is not a bad editor it is just not the one I have chosen a while ago and I pay for ARK already :-)
And it does not fit 2019 design if you ask me...

I tried on a couple site's now with JCE but all other editors in joomla are still ARK because of there media manager, widget manager and other features.

If you are willing but you want an extra payment, let me know.
It is not that i all want it for free ;-)

Yes, I got an answer which I can short into the following words:
For sure, now with J3.9, we cannot plan/develop any new integration.
We have to wait for Joomla 4.0.x first. Then we planned to improve our edit toolbar to implement some new features from new Joomla 4 Core and maybe add some more - so, after all, you would not need to use ARK anymore.

Hi Paul,

Well if that editor would suit all editor locations in joomla and has everything for my needs maybe...
But for every user and every ACL i create toolbars with different functions.
I do not want customers to have the possibility to change font or colors in the editor.
And much more :-)

Hi Paul,

Yes, life is difficult :-D
Thanks for considering and we will see what happens when joomla 4 comes out.
