Switching to SP Page Builder from Gridbox

Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hello. I currently use Gridbox page builder for my website. I just installed SP Page Builder and tried to edit a new test page on the frontend. The only items that are displayed are the menu bar and the footer from Gridbox. I can't drag any of the addons or blocks into the new page. I am unable to do anything.

I can't delete the pages I created with Gridbox until I recreate them with SP Page Builder. Is there a conflict with having both page editors installed at the same time that might be causing this problem? If so, how can it be resolved? Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for your query. Please create a new page using pagebuilder and try to recreate the previous layout.
You can only edit pages created with pagebuilder.

Tips for you:
Please install the pagebuilder in your local server then try to recreate all the available pages.
When done you can just export them from your local server and import those pages to your live site.

Hi. Maybe I didn’t explain the issue correctly. I’m not trying to edit Gridbox pages using SP Page Builder. I already did create a new page using Page Builder, but I am unable to edit it. When I try to drag addons or blocks on to the page and drop them, nothing happens.

I should be able to use SP Page Builder directly on my site without having to setup a local server and import them afterward.

Gridbox and SP Page Builder are not compatible. They have too many conflicts. It is not advisable to use them together on the same site.

Hi,
Sorry to say but it's not a better choice to use Gridbox and SP Page Builder on the same site. They may have some conflicting issue.

p.s.
Unfortunately, but we do not have migration tool between them as well.
We strongly suggest to use only one, selected Page Builder on production website.
Do not mix them, it will provide only weird problems.
