system alert hidden behind sp-header

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
Hi,
my system messages are hidden behind the header (please see screenshot). How can I make them show in the component area without having to add margin-top: 90px;
Thanks,
Uwe

Hi Paul,

I could not get it working. Therefore I have implemented this plugin https://www.tassos.gr/joomla-extensions/engagebox

With this little helper now everything works as expected.

Regards,
Uwe

Hi,
I guess the only way is to use custom CSS for the message box.

Hi Paul,

But when I add an additional margin-top then the message box will not show correctly on pages with activated Helix Page Title. On pages where the page title is switched on the message box shows correctly. It is just covered behind the header when I switch the page title off.

There must be another way to get this done. Any other idea?

I have to see URL to tell more,
maybe position absolute with z-index will help more.

Thanks Paul. Let me check the z-index option. If this does not help I get back to you by PM.

Just use

.alert.alert-message {margin-top: 125px;}

in custom css

50px was too small value

Well - this does not solve the issue equally. Again: on pages with activated Helix Page title the message already shows correctly without adding this line into custom.css. When I add it the margin is additional - so on these pages the message shows too much below the header.

So the line only works on pages without activated page title - but not for all.

What I need is something like a class which I can add to the page class of the respective pages individually. Any idea?

instead px use %, try with 15% or 10%
