Thumb Slider - Not Responsive

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
Hi,

Latest version of Revibe, Helix 3, SPPB, Joomla 3.8.5, PHP 7

My Clients want this slider responsive, and only wants to use 1 thumb slider and 6 slider images, high resolution images only.

"...The photos that are rotating on the home page are not “100% responsive”. When I look at the home page on my phone the photos do not shrink down, like they should. Can this be fixed?"

Please fix.

I Have the same issue
revibe 1.9 helix3 joomla 3.8.5 sp page builder 3.1.1

the thumb slider in revibe is not responsive on phone the image witch is in pano mode do not resize the whole image just a part of it on the left is visible.

I do create a new slider just for mobile and put smaller image it doesn't show the whole width only the left part of the image? I try to put the height in pixel smaller doesn't make any differrence

I try custom CSS as you suggest:

@media (max-width:640px) {
.sppb-addon-thumb-gallery #slider .slides > li .thumb-slider-bg {
background-size: 100% 100%;
max-height: 350px;
}
@media (max-width:380px) {
.sppb-addon-thumb-gallery #slider .slides > li .thumb-slider-bg {
max-height: 200px; }
the image is sqeeze in width not responsive

I try different custom code doesn't work and doesn't resize
I try Custom Addon Width the image is not cover in width

where should I look for info

Thanks

Hi Support,

I now suspect that the thumb slider bug, and some other issues and bugs are due to using SPPB 3.
The demo is responsive, and I have installed the Revibe starter, they use SPPB 2. Both show responsiveness, but not on my Dev/Staging site, that uses SPPB 3.

I did the latest Revibe/Helix 3 update, and for SPPB 3, but it does not correct them, it actually created another one with Article Addon.

My client and I did not expect these issue, as your documentation does not describe compatibility, forward compatibility bugs/issues with using SPPB 3, and it even links direct to SPPB 3 Pro.

This needs to be fixed ASAP as the delays due to the bugs/issues are causing us delays and added expenses.

Please respond as I have several threads added to forum support, on several issues, and added another on Tuesday.

Thanks

Any solution for this?
Been knocking down issues, only have this slider responsive issue that is critical left to solve.
Thanks.

Hi Support,

I need to have this responsive bug fixed.
I have listed what I think is the bug, using SPPB 3 and it has never been responsive with images.
You list this template as responsive and SPPB Pro, but have not seen any info on conflicts with using SPPB 3:
https://www.screencast.com/t/cztgn4Tj

I just did the new update SPPB 3.1.2, 2/26/2018, and it did not fix the responsive issues.
I also still have the responsive issue with header logo and menu.

This thread has gone unanswered for over a week, I added this on 2/19/2018 and had no response to date. I'm not the only customer with this issue.

I did try some of the listed fixes, just breaks style.

Please let me know you will fix this as the deadline to go live is this week, or respond on when this can be fixed.

Thanks

Hi Daniel, Not sure why this has not been addressed. Added this thread in a direct PM, and your request to.

May need to add another in SPPB 3.

Still waiting.

Hi, they say mine is working fine, It does not scale the images down enough, if you review demo it seems to do the same, but on my images they are clipped significantly, almost 40-50%.
Going to see if I can play with it on my end to improve. Good luck...

Hi,

Had to go live with what I have.
Thumb Slider is not responsive with images, you see that it does not, compared it to revibe demo which does.

Note, as a developer very disappointed, if things are my fault I will always be up front and take the heat, but that there are so many bugs, issues and workarounds with both products, just leaves me mad, and concerned for my client.
I also need to report another with JCE Pro editor...just wish products were stable!!!

Hi,

Now added this css code instead of cover background to contain css code.

@media (max-width: 320px){
.sppb-addon-thumb-gallery #slider.flexslider .slides > li .thumb-slider-bg {
height: 120px;
}
.sppb-addon-thumb-gallery #slider .slides > li .thumb-slider-bg {
-webkit-background-size: cover;
background-size: contain;
background-position: center center;
min-height: 119px;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
}

Please check now.

-Thanks
