Hello, I assume you are talking of a J! article... this is caused by some special Override files.
They are located in YourTemplate -> HTML -> Layouts -> Joomla -> Content -> social_share

Unfortunately, this seems to be a global HELIX3 feature. You can set and change the option in your template style!
Please, have a look into YourTemplate Style -> Tab Blog -> Social Share -> Enable Yes/No.

You're welcome!

Suggestion / Feature Request

BTW, shouldn't it have any restriction options? I mean, either show the buttons on certain categories? Or hide them on certain categories? Currently it is "all-or-nothing". Same applies to the Comments feature. The template parameter Tab is called "Blog"... so It should give me the option to choose my actual blog category/categories.

(A workaround is to use an extra template style for a certain blog MenuItem. But this is not optimal, and not the usual purpose for a template style, isn't it?!)

@pepperstreet,

We by now really owe you quite a few beers for your constant flow of great ideas and suggestions, really :)

Surely, being able to manage social icons on categories level as opposite to blogwide only makes full sense. Cheers once again. I'll bump it off Kowshar next week.

Regards,

Alex

I will take you at your word! :)
Definitely more to come... I am just lacking the free time to post all my experiences and suggestions!
