Unable to change section background color after multiple tries

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
I initially built a section with a mustard-yellow background color. saved it, previewed it from front end, hated it. so i went back and changed the section background to "none." Yet, going back to view it, it still has mustard yellow background. I've cleared browser cache, cleared joomla cache, checked in all screen views, and when i go back to front end editing it still shows the box as white, but then yellow when i go to the page to view it inside the template. (helix) halp!

Here's what a slice of the section looks like while front-end editing:

And what it looks like when loading the page from the template (logged out):

Hi,
looking at the image I am blind, I have to see front-end URL to tell more.

Maybe it's bg color set in column or addon settings?
