Featured Lock Resolved Issue
Hi there,

I have tried all forms are installing sp page builder except for installing via the web that joomla allows.(Scared all my configurations disappear as its installing the free version and not the pro)

Are you able to please assist as I am sitting on 3.1.2 and need to be on 3.2.1?

Agreed. There is something wrong with 3.2.1. It doesn't install and the Joomla logo just keeps spinning. It doesn't go back to finalize itself and show install was successful. Do you guys test this shit before releasing it? I doubt it.

I tried this on 3 other websites and this 3.2.1 installer doesn't work. Please fix.

Send PM how, and how did you send it? I have received nothing other than messages from this board.

Guys, I am getting really tired of this support. I just tried to install the new version of PageBuilder 3.2.3 in two different sites on two different servers and the install fails as it did before. it runs to a 500 internal server error. You still have not fixed this upgrade install. Also you have a section in your component that allows me to put the license key and an email so that I can update the component directly rather than downloading the component and installing it. That is broken. Your site goes to a 403.

Look, other Joomla developers with components have figured out this Joomla license thing, except you guys. Your installer does not work, and hasn't worked for months. You can't get me a secure email so that I can send a login so you can test this error of install and fix it. Not sure why you guys are still in business? I paid money for this component and your version 3 is a massive FAIL. Get your act together and get this component fixed!!!

I went back to one of my sites and turn on error reporting to development to see if this installer ran errors. After turning on error reporting to development, the component installed. You should look into why a person has to turn on error reporting to install your component.

More updates. I went to my second site and installed with error reporting but it didn't install. In the first site I also had debug system on, which displays a debug panel on the page. That is what allowed the component to install. So if you have debug system under system > Global Configuration set to Yes, the component installs. There is some kind of PHP or incorrect xml file that isn't running correctly when installing your component.

Are you able to install any other extension ? Try !
Show me screenshot with issue.

hmm, It doesn't look like our bug, today I installed (re-installed) SPPB for 10 our customers without any problems.

Every other companies components update with no issues. Every other companies components install without any issues. Only your component has issues. I think that means that it is your component. And this is on multiple servers, multiple sites. If the issue was Joomla or other components, then I would be seeing this on everything. On this forum, someone else had issues with these updates as well. It wasn't until this 3 version that I started having issues. 2.5.whatever had no issues.

There are over 8000 extensions for Joomla are you sure? Because I have different experience. I do not justify our product, but I say that every case is different.

I asked you for screenshot - it's so hard?
