Upgraded from SProperty 2.1 to 3.0 - lot of issues

Featured Lock Resolved Bug
Hi, I just bought a new subscription and upgraded SP PROPERTY from 2.1 to 3.0

Now all property images dissappeared in component and module! Check here: www ohlala immo/angebote

Also sorting of properties on frontend is incorrect now, although in the backend they still show in correct order as before.

I thought there is maybe a new feature, which i have to enable, but couldnt find anything.

Pls advise what to do, thank you.

Hey Alex,
I've visited your site and found the images are showing correctly.

http://prntscr.com/lkz5oa

I've found backend ordering sorting not working. Sorry for this inconvenience. We will solve this at the next update. Please wait for that or if you are in a hurry then PM me.

-Thanks.

Thank you Sajeeb, the images are shown indeed - obviously a classic issue: refresh cache...

However, the update to v3.0 brought huge problems, not improvements:

1)
The images are shown bigger than full screen now. At least the thumbnails should also be on the full screen. I prefer the bigger images, but now it looks worse than before with the little images.

2)
Sorting not working - yes, I need that asap please, as it is now showing the already rented objects at first place.

3)
This ribbon on the right upper corner is gone as well? It was a very nice feature!

4)
The "sqft"-issue: still not solved in v3. I cannot use it. I have made modifications to show it as "qm" - but still that doesnt makes sense, as the rental!! price is shown something like 500€ / qm. The "sqft/qm" feature only makes sense in case of selling. So, when can I completely switch it off in case of rental objects?

5)
Prices: they are shown in decimal, which is just confusing and unnecessary. Instead of showing prices as "500.00€", it should be "500€".

6)
Did you test v3 also on MOBILE? The dots for showing how many images are not on bottom of images. How can they be switched off, as there is a left/right arrow anyway. They are useless. Have a look at attached screenshot: http://prntscr.com/ll01tl

7)
How can I switch off the "Like-heart" in the upper right corner? Visitors are not registered and they shall not register on the page. Hearts are nice for communities like Airbnb etc.

I really love your templates and of course SP PAGE BUILDER, but SP Property produces a lot of headache for me and unnecessary work, which I think shouldn´t be.

How can 1-7 be solved as quick as possible?

Thank you!

Alex,
We are sorry that you are facing problems with SP Property component. We've made a lot of updates of this component with help of a lot of researches.
We always try to take your responsibilities. I think some of the problems you are facing for some misunderstanding.

Here I give you some solutions. Take a look -

1. The bigger image is the original image that you have uploaded. You can roll back to the previous slider view by going to the-
menus > main menu > ( for your site find angebote menu item ) and from the properties settings tab you can find slider style option select Multiple Images Slider. Now you can see the previous slider view.

2. Problem 2 will be solved next update. Wait for it or PM me.

3. Did you mean the sold tag as upper corner ribbon? This is deprecated.

4. There is an option for measurement in the backend where you can specify the measurement type. This could be sqft, sqm or whatever you want. And if you select rent as property status then there is an option named rent period which will be shown with price except for sqft or sqm.

The 5,6,7 could be reconsidered.

-Thanks.

Thank you for your swift response, Sajeeb.

1)
I changed it in the menu (wasn´t aware about it). Although an alternative with bigger images (or with pop up gallery, when clicking on it) would be appreciated.

2)
Thanks

3)
Yes, the upper corner ribbon. It looked very attentative. Pity, it is deprecated.

4)
Great, was still using a workaround, and as the ribbon doesnt exist anymore, I don´t have to "misuse" it for rented properties in order to show a "RENTED" ribbon... Solved, thanks

5,6,7) You mean, you are going to change it in next version(s)?

Especially the dots are very annoying, when you have a lot of images (quite natural for a real estate service), and you are using a mobile phone, which is already half of all Internet traffic: http://gs.statcounter.com/platform-market-share/desktop-mobile-tablet

Thanks.

All the changes are mentioned in the documentation.

The 5,6,7 are reconsidering. We are added those on our queue. If applicable then we, of course, change them on the next update.

You can remove the dots from the carousel. For that, you just have to do some code change. It is too simple. Just follow me -

Go to your project. Find the file components/com_spproperty/assets/js/spproperty.js
Then add a line after line number 226

dots: false

I hope this will work for you.

- Thanks.

That works only for the component, not for the module.

Just found out:

When I add "dots: false" on line 127, then again, images are disappearing.
When I take out the line, they are back again.
I again added "dots: false" on line 127, images are gone again - pls. check site.
Yes, I also emptied cache on site and in browser.

Has your problem been solved? Don't forget to use a trailing comma at line 226.

Follow this.

- Thanks.

Yes - the comma was missing, thank you!

Dots for images in module still unsolved --> www ohlala immo/angebote
I assume I have to add the line in another file as well?

You can do this by doing a similar task just find out the file at modules/mod_spproperty_properties/assets/js/mod_spproperties.js and add dots: false after line 55.

-Thanks.
