Video Background (YouTube) - Starting point

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Hi Guys,

Is it possible to add a parameter to the video background, to make sure the video starts at a certain time. For example, I want to start a YouTube-video on second 10 of that video. (In other words I want to skip the first 10 seconds)

Can it be made possible?

Thank you in advance,
Peter

Hi Peter,
the only way now is...
to grab code generated from YouTube and paste into RAW HTML addon.

But the above method it's only for an addon.
----
For background video
, just upload a video which starts at a good time.
mp4
or
upload on youtube corrected version.

---
No other easy ways.

I understand this, but is it possible to add this feature in a next version of PageBuilder Pro?

Kind regards,
Peter

Maybe.
But if you need a solution today.
1) Download video from youtube
2) Customize length
3) Upload again.

or just use your own video instead of someone else
because you do not have control about it, video owner can block you one day.

I don't need it at the moment. I used a different video now, but in the future I may want to go back to the previous one.

I hope you will hand this idea over to the devs so they can consider it.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Paul,
YouTube still permits to establish the start / end point for the "embed URL" in the format:
(just an example) https://www.youtube.com/embed/MqNd1xD46VY?&start=10&end=30
You can test it copying and pasting into the browser URL

While those parameters do not run on normal YouTube video URLs

Would be possible have the SPPB Background YouTube video URLs running in the https://www.youtube.com/embed/... format ?!?

I guess we all know about those parameters. The only fact is that they are not used in SPPB yet, right.

It was added to wish-list.
Hi Paul,
thanks for answer to me.
Sorry, maybe to have here a public bug and roadmap tracker would be a good thing to permit us to don't repeat things...
