WCAG 2.0

Featured Lock Resolved Task
Hello everyone,
I need a recommendation for Website Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
Is there an extension for Joomla that is recommended that will work with existing Sp Pagebuilder, and Helix framework?
Besides doing everything in my power to completely fill out metatags, titles, image descriptions. WCAG is important to help people with disabilities. It seems a proper extension would be best.

Thank you
Philip C.

Hi,
WCAG is a long challenge, many aspects of the whole page must be well described, coded.

Check good accessibility widget from userway.org
(fully recommended)

Some of the users - install the commercial extension Screen Reader (from storejextensions)

Hi Paul,
It seems User Way would be the best direction for us too. They seem to just focus on WCAG subject. When I donate will it remove the donate link from the widget? I don't need to do the white label. Lastly, what else would be a good recommendation to stay compliant? I am sure User Way does not cover all compliance of WCAG 2.0.

Thanks

I am glad that I helped, I suggested a script which I use all the time.

They have customization options which are PRO, paid. For example, you can upload your logo inside, remove copyright link etc..
---
Check WAVE addon for the browser (Firefox, Chrome)
of course, there are more... online validators, testers.

The most trusted are done by people with REAL disabilities.

This is a valuable insight for me and other individuals/teams that deal with websites. It is something that needs to be addressed. Thank you for providing this information, now I can do my part and make sure we are more compliant.

I am a loyal Joomshaper customer. If this is another company I wouldn;t be interested. I try to keep consistent with the products I use. I am sure Joomshaper has looked into WCAG, as has Joomla CMS platform.

As for now, I need to put in the extra effort to make sure our website complies with WCAG 2.0 as best as I know-how.

Thanks
