Where we edit 'Property status' list

Featured Lock Resolved Task
How can I edit the Status list names and order?
I just need 'for sale' and 'for rent' to appear in the FRONT END. In the backend its OK to have some more but still to be able to edit them.

Some of the options you have now are contradictory.. A property can be 'For Sale' and at the same time to be 'On Hold' or 'Under Offer'... so to make this STATUS more usefull for administrators I suggest the following:

1. Property Status to be editable like the 'Features' or 'Categories' list in the backend and appear in the front end in the order we set them in the backend.

2. We should be able to select MORE THAN ONE status for each property

3. We should be able to choose which Status to be visible in the front end on the property details and on the search boxes.

This way we will have a VERY USEFULL tool to be used in conjuction with the 'Propert List' module to filter properties to be shown in various ways by creating STATUses and assigning them to properties creating OFFER Goups, Properties of the MONTH groups, Properties on SALE, or Goups of SPECIFIC properties to be shown....

Hi,
Thanks for your queries.
1) Sorry there is no default feature to add or delete them manually. But you can remove them by using this simple css in your custom css field.

.sp-property-search .spproperty-search .cat-wrap .pstatus .sp-select .sp-select-dropdown li:not(:nth-child(-n+3)) {
display: none !important;
}
.sp-property-search .spproperty-search .cat-wrap .pstatus .sp-select .sp-select-dropdown li:nth-last-child(1) {
display: block !important;
}

2) Please check this screencast https://files.fm/u/2wfrm49x

Hi, thank you for the video!

But I just need only 3 statuses to appear in the search box and on the backend.
I just need: "For Sale. For Rent, Sale Special Offer"

1) You are showing me how to replace the names. But how do I delete the ones I dont need and in the future maybe add one more?

2) The process you described with the overrides does not update the values everywhere. The search module status values are not updated after I created the override for the value: "Under Offer" to "For Sale - Special Offer". see sshot...

thanks

Hi Sifat I also have the same issue with the SP Property Extension, Sell needs to change to "For Sale" can you please advise if I am able to edit this in the language file?

For anyone else who my be struggling with this go to Extensions - Languages - Overrides
Insert COM_SPPROPERTY_FIELD_PROPERTY_STATUS_SELL and change the text Value to "For Sale". This worked for me.

You can find the constant (COM_SPPROPERTY_FIELD_PROPERTY_STATUS_SELL) in language/en-GB/en-GB.com_spproperty.ini

Hi there,
If you still have the problem you can just remove the unused status from the file
"\templates\shaper_estate\html\mod_spproperty_search\defult.php" at line 42
please check the image below
