Why No Documentation?

Featured Lock Resolved
I sent an email to Kowshar:

Hi Kowshar,

I am new to Joomla and still learning.

I have installed SP Tab and I see it in Modules, but there is absolutely
no documentation on what to do next, to be able to choose the different
styles as shown on the demo page.

I have read the forum for SP Tab and there is no instructions there either.

There no documentation included when one follows the "Documentation" link
here:
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-display/contents-panel/16858

Please can you inform me as to where exactly the
documentation/instructions are?

Kind regards,
Wayne

2 days later, still no reply.

Judging by the terrible lack of response to people asking for documentation here, I assume that Kowshar could care less about whether people are able to use the product or not. Congrats, you've lost a customer and since bad news spreads further than good news, you can count on having lost many more.

I received an email reply today from Kowshar, saying that I should update SP Tab and click on styles in parameters.

I responded with:

"Thank you for the response. I have already managed to get it to work on a Joomla 1.7 template, but it still does not wot work on a 1.5 template.

I suppose there is something that I have not done right, like deactivated some program or whatever, but due to there being no documentation that explains which programs to look for conflicts with, I simply cannot get the 1.5 version to work.

I see title "SP Tab", but changing styles and position does not help to make the actual tabs appear, as in the 1.7 version."

By the way, before anyone asks, yes, I did install the 1.5 version of SP Tab, with the 1.5 version of Joomla!

I sincerely hope that a one page installation/instruction guide is created, to help people new to SP Tab and Joomla, to get past the very basics of installing, activating and then configuring SP Tab versions 1.5 and 1.7, by mentioning that it works only with modules and which programs may conflict with it.

There is some info spread throughout the forum, but that info should be distilled and be in the installation/instruction guide.

That said, thank you, for a really great product, that I must also say, is the best looking and most variable in style, of all Tab programs that I have seen for Joomla!

No plugins needed. Make sure you've published those modules
