Joomla 3.4 and JoomShaper updates plans
On 24 February the Joomla team released Joomla 3.4 stable. That new CMS release introduces new features such as: improved front end module editing, decoupling of weblinks component, composer integration, Google new reCaptcha and security improvements by implementing UploadShield code which can detect malicious uploads by examining their filenames and file contents.
In next days we will start updating our QuickStarts (Joomla + template + modules) which now includes packages with Joomla 3.3.6 and soon one by one they will get new Joomla 3.4. We have to also check them and fix all compatibility issues on JoomShaper templates and modules. Probably the last (oldest) template which will get that current CMS update will be Extreme. But the first ones will get J!3.4 much sooner in next coupe of days/weeks.
All ours new templates based on Helix3 framework will be compatible with Joomla 3.4 from the beginning, so you don't have to be worry about it.
Joomla 2.5 and JoomShaper
As of December 31, 2014 the Joomla! 2.5 release cycle has reached end of official support. We also will not produce any new template for Joomla 2.5 version anymore. We strongly suggest to migrate into current version of CMS.
