MegaDeal Template is now compatible with VM3

You may have seen the announcement that Virtuemart 3  stable version is now available and fully compatible with Joomla! 3.3+ from the looks of the feature list, it looks like it's an excellent update to an already great version. As we promised, we have done a big update for MegaDeal Template and now it got  the new generation of the eCommerce solution.

VirtueMart 3 (virtuemart.net) is still a free open source e-commerce extension for Joomla content management system (CMS). The latest stable release is now available with many new features. Shoppers will be delighted by the enhanced speed, add to cart buttons in the category browse view, and simpler checkout. Shop owners will notice the enhanced backend speed, full front-end administration and simplified customfields. Shop builders will find a lot more tools to fulfill the wishes of their customers.

Now it time to share with you some others changes that we made to improve that store template:

• Fixed all responsive issues;
• Updated all Extensions (modules, components);
• Quickstart was updated into current version of Joomla 3.3+;
• Updated ecommerce componet into Virtumert 3;
• Updated Vm_slider module for joomla 3+;
• Improved all the modules and template functionalities.

As you know Joomla.org has announced that Joomla 2.5 reaches its end-of-life and is no longer supported, since 31 Dec 2014. That we decided to use Joomla 3.3 inside Quickstart. We hope that this is good news for all customers and you will appreciate our efforts in developing and supporting JoomShaper products.
