A look back at JoomShaper’s rocking 2016

The winter is knocking at the door. We’re on the verge of finishing a rocking year, 2016. A new year is coming. It’s high time we looked back at the journey of this whole wonderful year.

2016 was a tremendous year for JoomShaper. We’ve shifted to a bigger workspace, maintained the monthly template release schedule 100%, improved Helix3, launched SP Page Builder 2 and developed a range of powerful extensions.

JoomShaper has a longstanding history of supporting open source and Joomla community initiatives. 2016 was a great example of that. This year we sponsored all major Joomla gatherings worldwide. Our team attended several international Joomla events to spread our message of friendship. It was so successful. 

A Bigger Workspace

In May 2016, we’ve moved to our new commercial workspace. Our growing team size required a space upgrade, and we’ve got it. The new office is spectacular and well-equipped. Here we have a huge sports area, a relax zone, a conference room, an appealing food zone and more.

12 Amazing Templates

In 2016, we’ve released 12 amazing Joomla templates. Our subscribers were so happy because we were able to launch every new title in the beginning of each month. The team worked hard to offer the best possible customer experience. We really enjoyed that.

SP Page Builder 2

2016 marked the release of SP Page Builder 2, a radical upgrade to our drag and drop page composer tool. SP Page Builder 2 is more of a magic wand, that lets you create a full-fledged responsive website in minutes using its front-end realtime editing system. Learn more about SP Page Builder 2 here.

Supported Lots of JoomlaDay Events

Through 2016, JoomShaper supported lots of local and international JoomlaDay events. Our team representatives including the CEO Mr. Kawshar Ahmed visited Kuala Lumpur to attend JoomlaDay Malaysia this year. We were major sponsor for JoomlaDay Bangalore, JoomlaDay Minnesota, JoomlaDay Denver, JoomlaDay Florida and many other Joomla events this year.

Joined JWC16 as a Diamond Sponsor

Joomla World Conference (JWC) is the biggest annual gathering arranged by the Open Source Matters (OSM), the non-profit organization supporting the Joomla! project. JoomShaper was a Diamond sponsor for the JWC16. Last year, we also supported the JWC15 held in India. We offered a lot of giveaways in this year's event (too) including a brand new Xbox One. It caught a huge attraction.

Discounts and Giveaways

We frequently announce discounts and sale campaigns to let the community people grab the best deal on the web. 2016 wasn’t an exception. The year started with a big 50% discount on all JoomShaper products. Several other times we’ve offered such hefty discounts to share the joy of different festivals around the world.

Every time we join any event, we give away lots of prizes to the attendants. Probably you can remember our JWC15 grand prize, a brand new MacBook Air along with two Android tablets. This year, we gave away a shiny Xbox One gaming console as the grand prize at JWC16. The winner was very happy and got emotional.

This was just a brief look back at the year 2016. We strongly believe you enjoyed our every effort to make the web prettier, faster, richer and a real fun.

2017 is on the way. Here are some of our new year resolutions:

• We will release more stunning templates with so many cutting edge features.
• Our website UI/UX will be far more improved.
• The support system will get a huge upgrade.
• The SP Page Builder 2 will get even more features and speed.
• We will continue supporting Joomla related events worldwide.
• And much more wonderful stuff.
