I think it would be very useful to add a functionnality to Helix, or SP Pagebuilder, to customize the titles (of Categories, articles and modules). For ex : styled underline and backgrounds, and effects.

Another function that was announced by you and I've never seen it. Was the integration with Whatsapp. They should think about putting something in Helix that has a relationship with Whatsapp. In Social share.

Helix has been a great platform. Going forward, I would love to see SP Pagebuilder woven into the core platform.

Right now, in Helix 3, we can't create a module position just above the "component" part, in between the left and right sidebars. I hope Helix 4 would have this option.

Most important, do not change something that we all ready customised, like menu when you scroll down because we have many themes and an new update with lot of modifictions will be a "crime"... Just add new stuff if you want, make faster, fix issues and will be ok :D

As a JoomShaper fan, and from a client perspective, I'd like to see further development on page load speeds (already some of the best, but even better would be awesome) more granular control over performance tweaks, and improved graphics handling. I spend a lot of time working on optimizing the performance of websites, SEO and other work which takes away from the actual design elements work. So, it's speed, speed speed.

I have used helix3 on many websites, I miss a few features that will make it even better!
1. Search on site (not offcanvas)
2. Integration of Joomla 3.7 fields with Helix Blog Options
3. Better RTL support.

10X for a great work!!

As others suggested the BIGGEST concern is what happens with existing websites that are on 3. What's the point spend money and time in creating a website TODAY? I was looking to buy a template but now I have second thoughts. It is ridiculous to ask people to pay good money for templates and then fail to update them to the new framework.

It would be important to have the compatibility of the blog with the news modules. The Helix blog allows you to insert images into your native component, but these images are not found in any news module, even from your own production! I would like the blog to have the main image or the main gallery that can be accessed by the options of the modules in circulation or your property.

Some notes:

1. Migrate to a lighter framework than bootstrap - http://flexboxgrid.com
2. Use of flex box with ability to position columns/rows by 'middle' 'end' etc. (View flexboxgrid for info).
3. Default settings - Ability to change the default settings on new site creation. Our agency uses helix on hundreds of sites, the option to change defaults on quick install would speed up setup time.
4. Page speed improvements - Less bloat, ability to disable sections that are not needed (Like bootstrap tables etc.)

- two version of the framework : one with integration into the core of the SP-Page Builder Pro and one with sp Page builder lite version, this to let you having the framework still free for user who doesn't want the sp-page builder pro version.
- SEO improvment and why not a sitemap builder ?

Come on, I have a lot of suggestions.
1st Mega menu easier and can change background, put column and line according to our pastness rather than being a thing already predefined example is this site that I created https://www.sicoobcard.com.br/ I had a lot of trouble since I use helix 3, more I did as the client wanted.

2º The positioning structure of layout is to place a position before or after the component between the right and left, so that we can put several levels one inside the other without problem since when we program we can put in Bootstrap several lines and several columns One inside the other.

3. Have in the configuration structure of the layout a way to leave that position of screen size both horizontally and mainly vertically this when the position is smaller than the screen if it is equal to or greater it maintains as is, facilitating with that the single page is made faster.

The possibility to create a module position just above and/or below the "component" part, in between the left and right sidebars.

A good think could be the transparent menu and then sticky.

- templating the positions for the content from my component (access via framework-api)
- i can then use this positions for output in development
-> then can i reorder/effects/... this positions

Unable to set module width in%. I miss one extra column. Min 5 columns.

Most of what I want to see in Helix 4 is already told.
So, the only thing comes to mind is the ability to create vertical menus.

İt would be great if Helix could provide more presantability (grid/masonary look) to EasyBlog and EasySocial without the need using 3. party components like I have to currently.

I think you should follow market's tendencies. Drag 'n drop designing and developing tools are what I expect from HELIX 4.

Not sure about bootstrap 4, as it's still in alpha and could potentiall cause issues down the road. it's been in development for over a year and doesn't seem to be headed to a release anytime soon.

I'm very happy with Helix 3 which is running quite oké on almost 40 of my sites. So a spotless update procedure from Helix 3 to Helix 4 should be mandatory!

I am happy to here that Helix 4 is coming. Not that Helix 3 is bad... it is great but some improvements with mein menu and mega menu are very welcomed. Maybe second "mein menu" would be also great and some improvement with Safari compatibility would be highly appreciated. But like many here already point out... long live the JoomShaper ... very much needed in Joomla community. All the best and thanks for good work.

Good day. There is a small wish. Make a convenient implementation of Unlimited Color and for developers. The majority uses for compilation of loess not the built in compiler, and for example Prepros or a panda, and so in them it is impossible to use variables with Unlimited Color, maybe to change logic? If there was an opportunity to use variables in any forest files, it would be convenient, and so you have to copy a bunch of lines separately in presets.les

Most of the requests have mentioned what is required. From a end user point of view, i.e. what our clients want:
- Wordpress kind of look with large images & row wise spread.
- Option to make website compact, most of the templates have too much space. They might look good but when we want to incorporate lots of information a compact option for each template is needed. Else we have to do major customizations.
- Ability to upgrade without re-doing customizations
- Comprehensive & feature rich free version of Helix, Pagebuilder & a template. Seemless integration between SP Pagebuilder, Joomla articles & Helix 4.

First, what ever you do to tie Pagebuilder Pro and Helix closer together is welcome. Why not go a step further (your admin template concept does that) and integrate both in a way that JSN PowerAdmin (http://demo.joomlashine.com/joomla-extensions/jsn-poweradmin/jsn-poweradmin-overview.html) does. So that everything you do in Joomla would be more direct and in one place.


[b]Pagebuilder Pro[/b]

I liked the idea to open Pagebuilder Pro to external add-on developers. You have now got a lot new add-ons with Shortcode Ultimate. But unless someone read the blog post about that, one wouldn't know.

Mobile is so important that it would be great to have different font size options for the different screen sizes.

Now I have to do this in a custom css file. It would be a time saver to have this in Helix.


[b]Logo[/b]

Let us use a different logo when page is scrolled down.

There is a privacy friendly, modern looking, fast loading and mobile friendly solution for social sharing: https://github.com/heiseonline/shariff. This of course also has WhatsApp sharing (I know you have included that already) and besides others also sharing via Xing which in german speaking countries is more important than LinkedIn.

What about including this as the social sharing engine?

2. Better built-in open graph tags, for instance, image and description taken from meta description, fb app id tag, or at least the ability to switch it off if a better plugin needs to be installed.
3. Some attention to SEO, for instance, blog article page, h2 "entry-header", should be an h1.
4. Bring shortcodes back the way it was in Helix2. SP page builder pages aren't SE friendly due to lack of schema.org markup. So, currently it's annoying to not have the shortcodes available on pages other than Page Builder pages.
5. Ability to switch comments off or on where needed.

New to you guys, but like what I see so far. Might seem strange, or even possible today. But I would like to be able to add a module to the content position and have it overide whatever content would be shown by Joomla. This is just an easy way of creating a special landing page without having to make it either a pagebuilder page or special template.

- Is it possible to create module positions directly in the layout contributor? This would speed up the layout creation.

Well, there are few things which I'd like to see helix4.
1. In template Manger, we can save most of the things in a preset like right now it only saves color but it would be great if we could save font-family and font-size in too so that we don't have to reselect font family in different template styles. And if anyone requires different font-family in different template style they can select from the old family option by enabling it for current theme and this will override the preset font-families.

2. It would be great if you guys think about adding a comment system in blog page other than those you had already given. I meant comment system in Joomla was always a major concern for everybody and these Facebook integration and Disqus is not a proper alternative.

3. And I'm glad to know you are adding more blog options, I'm expecting more blog layouts options for different pages.

I Love the Helix Framework. I would not and DO not use anything else. The only thing I would even think about changing... for me anyhow is maybe add Sticky menu animation like in Menu. I change code to do the animated fadeInDown. I am looking forward to the changes and don't mind if I have to do a little work around with the new Framework. You guys and gals have done an excellent job with you work!

Adding custom code to the section of each page would be nice. Codes like meta tags, link, script, and any sort of code that we want to insert in section of any page ( specially different codes in different pages ).

I will appreciate to see the [b]off-canvas menu[/b] become more flexible (something like that of Joomlart T3 framework or even better). I am already excited that you are adding new header variations - this really sounds great. I trust the Joomshaper team to give the Helix 4 framework the best headers implementation in all Joomla template frameworks. I must still add that i like the way one can play around with that of Joomlart T3 framework.

It would be glad if you have a component which allows you to add any of the joomla components on to your SP Page builder page and works fine. Instead of using your own customised. Also the layout builder is really cumber some.
Using your framework I need to only define the layout and not the content. Content should always flow from the core joomla functionality such as categories / articles etc.
Then only the use of your component is work.
For example the feature box or the the heading addon the content for those needs to come from core joomla otherwise the flexibility is lost, it is like the static web page of 1990's where to change the layout you need to type in everything from scratch.

This feature is better implemented in Gantry 5 framework.

Hope you take it as a constructive feedback.

Don't get me wrong here: I am sure you probably would create a good product, but I have my doubts about the [b]necessity[/b] at this point of time! Not to mention the trouble with upgrading of Helix3 powered sites, it will likely have another name-spaced CSS framework. The latter makes no sense to me – we all know the current situation with different Bootstrap versions, don't we?! i.e. Joomla loads BS2, many extensions load BS3 or a modified one, and you even speculate on using BS4...
For sure, Helix3 lacks some things and can be improved. Some of the major things have been mentioned already. Frankly speaking, I would be more happy with an update and more care about the existing framework.

+ Options to change the size of the social media icons in the top bar and to choose another icon set with same sized icons (especially the thin facebook-f could be difficult for some users to position the mouse arrow on it)

I would love to have the new Helix "Off Canvas Menu" as well as Purity III (or YJSG v2 - Eximium).
For example: I can create one stable "Off Canvas Menu" + at the same time use the second, normal upper, horizontal menu = When viewed on a smartphone, then the classic horizontal menu changes to "Off Canvas Menu" - only on the opposite side. On my smartphone then I have two "Off Canvas Menu" - one on each side.
In short - I would like a totally independent "Off Canvas Menu" in which I can display items other than the top, horizontal ones... Perhaps it can be understood from my description :-) I apologize for my bad English!
