Helix3 v3.0.3 Harnessed With the Latest PHP & Joomla 4 Compatibility
Howdy Helix lovers! This time we are bringing a short but sweet treat for all our Helix 3 users to brighten up the beginning of your month! It’s been a while since the last Helix 3 update rolled out so here’s another freshly baked update of your favorite Helix 3 template framework you all have been waiting for. The much-awaited Helix 3 with PHP compatibilities is finally dropping off today!
Helix 3 v3.0.3 Changelog:
- New: PHP 8.0 and PHP 8.1 Compatibility
- Update: Joomla 4 Compatibility
What’s New in Helix 3 v3.0.3
As you all know, the extended support for PHP 7.4 ended on November 28, 2022. Hence making your favorite framework compatible with the latest PHP version is, of course, a requisite. After this update, you can enjoy PHP 8.0 compatibility in both Joomla 4 & Joomla 3 and PHP 8.1 compatibility with only Joomla 4.
Please note that the update is not compatible with PHP 8.1 in Joomla 3.10.x as Joomla 3 does not yet come with PHP 8.1 support!
Also, Call to Action and Image Content addons that were no longer effective have been removed to add to the overall functionality improvement.
