According to Joomla official website the estimated stable release date of Joomla version 3.7 is 28th March 2017. Robert Deutz and PLT team with other volunteers and support community working hard on Joomla 3.7 to get it out of the door with big features and improvements.

Here are some of the features that will come along with Joomla 3.7.

1. Custom Fields

This is the most awaited feature of Joomla 3.7. This feature comes with the adding of custom fields functionality to contact forms, user profiles and articles. Custom fields can be used for many purposes and solutions like pricing, custom data showing to a certain area of the article. So far Joomla users had to use these things with separate plugins. With custom fields, these things will be much easier and development friendly.

How you mean titles of the modules to have links? If you have a Joomla page with a menu and/or a category that will be the link.

I you add a Joomla "blank page" and add one menu page to that menu title and then add 5 modules to that page, how would the titles pages work for that modules? and what do you mean by links?

If you do a "Menu module" these modules can have "titles" that is menu links.

Pls explain how what you mean and how you want this to work... Cheers1

Hi - Some great new features. Looking forward to trying them out.

One question - will it be possible in J3.7.x to set the 'End Publishing Date' to affect the front page news only. In other words, the article automatically disappears from the front page but is still shown in the general news page(s).

Cheers, David
