In many ways, 2014 has been an exciting year for our company. New templates, new extensions, new employees, new partnerships, new items on our office, and events in which we have participated. Old 2014 is all wrapped up and 2015 is ramping up to be yet another promising year.
Truth be told I’m really glad to be seeing the back of 2014; let’s just say it has been a challenging year for all of us. From my private perspective I'm very happy that I could join into JoomShaper team, where I could share my knowledge, ideas and also learn new topics. But 2014 wasn't ideal for Joomla community. We all know that most of CMS cake took Wordpress, also many clients decide to change their platform from J! into WP. But last few months shown us that situation isn't so bad, there is a hope, people come back to Joomla! after fails with others CMS.

They saw that J!3.3 is very powerful, they might be disappointed only from that fact, that Joomla 3.4 with few nice features is not ready yet.
It has been a big year for mobile trends also, with reports of smartphone usage dominating that of both TVs and desktop computers. The past year has been exciting for JoomShaper as well. The team kept busy working on many exciting new product and company developments this year.
- We developed 11 new Joomla! templates
- We written 58 blog posts
- We developed 2 new components SP Page Builder and SP Simple Portfolio published on new JED
- We developed new modules like: SP Featured Slider for K2
- We rewrite documentation guides and add many new ones
- JoomShaper.com have new layout, where we used SP Page Builder Pro
- We started working to build our own LMS ( Learning Management System ) for Joomla! 3.x
- We have got many new likes on facebook page, thanks
- We also begin many future project, on eof them: font icon project ( 2000+ icons )
- We helped school children buying for them warm clothes
- We were taking part in few events: National Hackathon 2014, BIPC Conference 2014, RRfoundation Developers Team Startup Iftar Party, ITTW Conference 5.0 and Wordpressian 6th meetup.
- We organized a Template Design Competition with a valuable prize ( a new iPad )
- For our employees we bought a new gaming zone with PS4
- For the first time our Helix Framework was described in book & ebook ( packtpub.com )
- In January 2014 we launched our brand new WordPress theme marketplace Themeum
These were just a few of the highlights from this pretty amazing year here at JoomShaper. And even though we're working hard to build our Helix Framework and to make our tempaltes, modules and components even better, we still know how to kick back and have some fun.
